Stizone privacy

Clear privacy for your sticker world.

How the Stizone app handles information, advertising, and privacy choices.

Last updated: June 18, 2026

Overview

Stizone ("we," "us," or "our") is a mobile sticker app that lets you browse sticker packs, create stickers with Sticker Maker, DIY Emoji, and GIF Maker, save stickers to My Stickers on your device, and add supported packs to WhatsApp. Stizone is published for Android and iOS.

This Privacy Policy explains how Stizone handles information when you use the app. Stizone does not require an account to use core features.

The app may show advertisements through Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Where required by law or platform policy, we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) so you can make privacy and advertising choices, including choices related to GDPR / EEA and US state privacy requirements.

Information we do not collect on our servers

Stizone does not operate a user account system and does not upload your user-created stickers, photos, videos, or images to Stizone servers.

User-created content and project data are stored locally on your device only, including:

  • Stickers and packs you create or save in My Stickers
  • Editor projects and exported files saved by Sticker Maker, DIY Emoji, and GIF Maker
  • GIF Maker drafts and temporary export files in the app's local storage

If you uninstall the app or clear app data, locally stored user content may be removed unless you have saved copies elsewhere (for example, in WhatsApp or your photo gallery through actions you choose).

We do not sell user-created sticker or image files.

Information stored locally on your device

The app stores certain preferences and data on your device using local storage (for example, on-device databases and files). This may include:

  • Favorite sticker packs
  • Dark mode and other display preferences
  • Notification preference settings (the app does not currently send push notifications from a Stizone server)
  • Language preference, where applicable
  • GIF Maker draft data
  • Paths and metadata for user-created sticker packs

This locally stored information is used to make the app work and is not uploaded to Stizone servers by the current app version.

How the app works

  • Bundled sticker packs included with the app are stored in the app package. Browsing, search, and favorites happen on your device.
  • Sticker Maker, DIY Emoji, and GIF Maker process images and videos on your device. Creating, editing, saving, and exporting stickers happens locally unless you choose to share content through another app.
  • Add to WhatsApp starts WhatsApp's own install or update flow on your device. WhatsApp is a separate service with its own terms and privacy practices.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Stizone uses Google AdMob to display ads. Ads are requested and shown through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, which is integrated into the app.

Where ads may appear

  • Banner ads may appear on browsing and list screens such as Home, Explore, pack detail, and My Stickers.
  • Interstitial ads (full-screen ads) may appear after you successfully create or save stickers a certain number of times, according to in-app frequency rules.
  • Ads are not shown on active editor screens while you are creating or editing a sticker.

What advertising involves

When ads are shown or requested, Google and its advertising partners may collect or use information such as:

  • Device identifiers, including advertising identifiers (for example, Google Advertising ID on Android and Identifier for Advertisers on iOS, where available and permitted)
  • IP address and general location derived from IP
  • App activity related to ad delivery and measurement (for example, ad impressions, clicks, and interactions)
  • Diagnostic and technical data (for example, crash logs, performance data, and SDK diagnostics) to operate, secure, and improve ad services
  • Cookies and similar technologies where applicable in web or hybrid ad contexts; mobile ad SDKs may use comparable technologies for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and measurement

Google may use this information to show ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and comply with legal and platform requirements. Processing by Google is governed by Google's policies, not Stizone's servers.

For more information about how Google uses data in advertising, see:

You can also use your device settings to limit ad tracking:

  • Android: Settings - Google - Ads (or Privacy - Ads), then reset or opt out of Ads Personalization where available
  • iOS: Settings - Privacy & Security - Tracking, and Settings - Privacy & Security - Apple Advertising

Device and OS menus may vary by manufacturer and version.

Privacy choices and consent (Google UMP)

Stizone uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), part of the Google Mobile Ads SDK consent tools, to present privacy and consent messages where required.

At app launch

When you open Stizone, the app may:

  1. Request updated consent information from Google's consent service
  2. Show a consent or privacy message if required for your region or device settings
  3. Wait for applicable consent before initializing ads when consent is required

GDPR / EEA and similar regions

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region where GDPR-style rules apply, UMP may show a message about:

  • Use of data for personalized advertising
  • Use of data to build an advertising profile
  • Your right to accept, reject, or manage choices

Your choices are stored by the consent mechanism and reflected in industry consent signals (such as IAB TCF strings where applicable) used when ad requests are made.

United States state privacy

If you are in a US state where applicable state privacy laws require it, UMP may show a US State Privacy message that lets you make choices about certain processing related to advertising and privacy rights offered under those laws.

Personalized vs. non-personalized ads

  • Personalized ads use information such as advertising identifiers and app activity to show ads that may be more relevant to you, subject to your consent and device settings.
  • Non-personalized ads are ads that are not based on a personalized advertising profile. If you do not allow personalized advertising choices, or where consent requires it, Stizone requests non-personalized ads from AdMob when serving advertising in the app.

Your choices can affect whether personalized ads, non-personalized ads, or no ads are available at a given time.

Change your choices in the app

You can review or change your privacy and advertising choices at any time:

  1. Open Stizone
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap Privacy Choices

This opens Google's in-app privacy options form provided through UMP. After you update your choices, ad requests in the app use your updated preferences.

You can also read this Privacy Policy from Settings - Privacy Policy, which opens this page.

Third-party services

Google (AdMob, Google Mobile Ads SDK, UMP)
Google processes data as an independent controller or processor (as applicable) for advertising and consent services under Google's terms and privacy policy.

WhatsApp
If you add sticker packs to WhatsApp, Meta/WhatsApp's terms and privacy policy apply to WhatsApp's handling of data.

Stizone's current app version does not upload user-created stickers or images to Stizone-operated cloud storage. Features such as remote sticker hosting, accounts, or analytics backends are not part of the current release described in this policy.

Data retention

  • User-created stickers and packs: Kept on your device until you delete them in the app, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
  • Local preferences: Kept on your device until changed or cleared.
  • Advertising and consent data: Retained according to Google's AdMob, Google Mobile Ads SDK, and UMP policies and your consent choices. Stizone does not operate a separate Stizone-server retention schedule for Google ad data.

Because Stizone does not host user-created sticker files on its servers, there is no Stizone-server copy for us to delete on request; you may delete local app data on your device.

Children's privacy

Stizone is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through Stizone-operated servers. If advertising is shown, Google's age and consent rules and your device and store settings apply. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at support@stizone.com.

International users

Stizone is available internationally. If you use the app from outside your home country, your information may be processed by Google and its partners in countries where they operate, including the United States, under their applicable safeguards and policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, advertising setup, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy at https://stizone.com/privacy/ and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy, except where further consent is required by law.
